Dlivrd Transforms Last-Mile Delivery with Automation, Saves 50 Hours Per Week with GigSafe
dlivrd is a last-mile, white-glove delivery company that connects independent drivers with third-party catering, e-commerce, and on-demand delivery opportunities. Historically, dlivrd had managed onboarding, payments, and compliance manually or by piecing together different software solutions. dlivrd began tackling these challenges by investing in their own tech-enabled logistics solution, dubbed “Frederick”, that matches drivers with jobs based on preferences and skills. Building on Frederick’s success, dlivrd partnered with GigSafe to deploy a contractor management platform built to quickly identify and rectify compliance risks.
GigSafe’s customizable implementation included automated onboarding & identity verification, payment processing features, and embedded insurance coverages focused on driver safety and third-party liability protections.
Collaborating with GigSafe, Dlivrd rolled out a plan to re-onboard existing drivers within a month and start paying them twice as fast.

dlivrd’s commitment to automation while also focusing on what drivers really care about has significantly improved partner satisfaction and retention. The company also reduced fixed costs per order by an average of 14 cents, allowing for further investments in the driver experience.

Time previously spent managing manual processes is now being invested in driver and customer support.
